Problem

I want to hold the record button when recording audio instead of pressing once and then again to stop

I want to hold the play button when playing audio instead of pressing once and then again to stop

Resolution

To change between the press-and-hold and press-once-press-again behaviours when recording or playing dictation, from within Lexacom Talk:

• Go to > Settings (if in Toolbar mode), or click the Settings icon () (if in Form mode)
• Go to the Device Control Configuration box
• Tick (or untick) the checkbox for the preferred behaviour(s):
  • I want to hold the play button to play audio
  • I want to hold the record button to record audio
• Click Save
• Reopen Lexacom Talk
