When a compatible DVR (Digital Voice Recorder) is connected to a PC with Lexacom running, Lexacom does not detect its presence to transfer the recorded dictations.
Lexacom only supports integration with DVRs with compatible USB leads from v3.2.8.9 and only compatble devices will work with this or later versions.

The USB leads supplied with the device should be used to cnnect to the PC.
Each device will have its own minimum USB version number to work correctly. If a device is on the above compatibility list but is not being recognised by Windows or Lexacom, the cable is likely to be at fault.
In order to use a DVR with Lexacom 3:
1) Use a device on the list above.
2) Use the approved cable to connect it to the PC.
3) The first time after Lexacom 3.2.8.9 has been installed or updated, connect the DVR to the PC and wait for the drivers to be initiated by Windows.
4) Restart the PC if requested to by Windows.
5) Run Lexacom and log on.
6) Connect your DVR and a window will appear to transfer your dictations.
7) Close the window once they have been transferred.
8) If using a compatible Olympus device, use the connected DVR to control Lexacom Talk.
